Meet Ali
I grew up in Northeast Tennessee, specifically Church Hill. After high school, I decided to play college volleyball in Wilmington, NC. I first started playing roundnet when I would come back home to visit my sister, Olivia. From then on, I was hooked and never stopped. I love Spikeball because it gave me an opportunity to keep working really hard at a sport that I truly love - even after volleyball was over.
Signature roundnet move?
My jam serve. I had a bad shoulder for the 2021 season and the jam had to be my main serve. It worked out when my shoulder got better and I was able to get more of an angle. I can still do both!
What's one thing everyone should experience in your city?
1) We have one town red light. So it’s a real tourist attraction 2) My meme (grandma) has the best backyard. It looks like a garden that's been tended to by a hundred professionals. A real must see.
Fav song on repeat?
A tie between As It Was - Harry Styles and First Class - Jack Harlow. Two absolute bops.
